Of all the production lines at Musser Lumber Company, Inc., none is more state-of-the-art than what company officials refer to as the "Next Generation" line.  This exciting new approach to processing custom kiln-dried lumber is highly automated.  Rough sawn kiln-dried lumber is introduced and immediately surfaced.  The lumber is then scanned by computer controlled equipment and custom ripped on one or both sides.  It then continues down the line where a team of Musser NHLA certified inspectors grade and sort each individual board.  The various grades are then separated into bins and packaged to each customer’s exact specifications and this is done ALL IN ONE PASS!  This new and innovative process for custom lumber production provides Musser customers with a higher yield product at very competitive prices.
